Carlstadt Police Arrest Woman in Hotel Prostitution Sting — Loaded Gun, Fake IDs Found

Carlstadt Police arrested Taraji Hunter during an undercover prostitution operation at a local hotel on Monday, September 14.

During the arrest, officers recovered a loaded firearm, a fraudulent driver’s license, and a fake debit card from Hunter’s possession, according to a department press release.

The arrest came as part of an ongoing effort by the Carlstadt Police Department to address illegal activity at hotels within the borough.

Hunter faces charges related to prostitution, unlawful weapons possession, and possession of fraudulent identification documents.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
