A commercial crane toppled onto two homes in River Vale on the morning of Sept. 17, according to the River Vale Fire Department.

River Vale police responded to Sunnyhill Terrace shortly before 10 a.m. after the crane truck overturned. No injuries were reported.

Cause of the Collapse

The River Vale Fire Department stated that a concrete seepage tank beneath the large crane truck gave way, causing the vehicle to overturn and its boom to fall across two neighboring homes.
