Six Men Charged in Edgewater Armed Robbery and Sexual Assault

Six men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery and sexual assault that occurred in Edgewater, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced September 16, 2026.

The defendants are identified as 24-year-old Yorwin Jesus Dudamel Gil of Elmhurst, Illinois; 25-year-old Jeider Jose Gonzalez Luchon of Chicago, Illinois; 22-year-old Carlos Osorio Rondon of Aurora, Colorado; 26-year-old Lisandro Ramirez Acosta of Richmond Hill, New York; 30-year-old Jhon Dervis Simancas Melean of Chicago, Illinois; and a sixth 24-year-old man whose name was not fully detailed in the announcement.
